Hey Kevin. Just letting you know I’ve been watching and practicing your videos for 2 years. You saved my butt last night man. Typical story. Big deer just standing in road, 45 mph, emergency braking, started skidding, balance of front and rear brakes and allow bike to do what it does to come to controlled slow. Keep it up sir. You’ll never know how many lives you saved because the wreck never happened.

This winter my wife purchased me a newer to me bike, she knew I just never really enjoyed the touring bike especially when we were both on it. She mentioned if I would get her a bike she would love to learn to ride. So we purchased her a bike. I told her she had to take the MSF basic course. I wanted her to have a head start before we got to class end of June. The field guide has been the perfect tool we had spent about 4 hours in parking lot before I couldn’t contain her anymore and she wanted on street. Thank you again for the field guide it has improved my riding and helped her get a great start. We have a cool routine where we do some parking lot field guide maneuvers and then do a ride. Thanks for all you do Kevin.

The MCrider forums are the best online resource I’ve found on the web. Becoming a motorcyclist is a lifetime of learning and it is great to have a place to find the right help with taking next steps. There are those times along that journey where we need to go back to review basics. MCrider is there in both cases. Yes Kevin has saved me, If there is one thing that I have learned it is this, The carpark is the place to learn, almost everything, I used to think that it was normal to duck walk, (sometimes) for example as it was (and still is a common sight, I had huge problems mastering tight U-turns, in fact never thought I could master it, until one day it all came together, So for me, the 1 thing is that it is essential to practice in the carpark, with the right techniques until te maneuvers are muscle memory
