Yes Kevin has saved me, If there is one thing that I have learned it is this, The carpark is the place to learn, almost everything, I used to think that it was normal to duck walk, (sometimes) for example as it was (and still is a common sight, I had huge problems mastering tight U-turns, in fact never thought I could master it, until one day it all came together, So for me, the 1 thing is that it is essential to practice in the carpark, with the right techniques until te maneuvers are muscle memory
McRider gave me confidence when I was a complete novice and it inspires me to improve.
It has also increased my enjoyment, no end.
Kevin you’re mighty!
Kevin’s videos and sage advise is very helpful and reinforces the right things to do and what not to do. I especially like his way of teaching, a little laid back but always worth listening to. Like he says, the most important “nut on the bike is the one attached to the handle bars”, be sure it’s on tight and right.
The McRider videos and forum have underlined that practicing strategies and techniques to reduce close calls and keep the rubber side down is essential and is keeping me out of trouble. Thanks, Kevin, and keep ‘em coming!
I am 73, and have been riding for 60 yrs. Being a part of this group allows me to continue learning safety and developing the skills to continue riding. Thank you for everyone sharing your experience and especially Kevin for providing a platform for all of us to share.
Even though I teach people to ride, and have all this experience to share and help people with… I still have the sense that I am walking among giants when I visit the MCrider forums.
The information and advice I am able to access on this site…to me absolutely LIFE SAVING…
You add a lot of values to riders of all levels. Thumbs up!
