This week on MCrider we define entry speed and it's impact on your ability to negotiate corners consistently. The first part of the corner is one of the most important things to get right for the remainder of the corner to be smooth.

Returning to motorcycling after a two decade hiatus, I didn’t even know the right questions to ask. As I immersed myself in my new owners manual, I had more questions. MCRider has established itself as the go-to web site for the developing rider in all of us. The first, most important lesson I learned from everyone is their desire for my success. In a world where too many are seeking another’s failure, failure on two wheels is a failure of the teacher AND the student. Every members thoughts an opinions are oriented towards success and safety for each other. Here I found the confidence to put my leg over a GoldWing and succeed in taming a potentially wild horse into an extension of my desire to ride well and see everyone on the road, wherever they may be. For now, I learn. Soon, I shall be the teacher because of MCRider.

Hey Kevin. Just letting you know I’ve been watching and practicing your videos for 2 years. You saved my butt last night man. Typical story. Big deer just standing in road, 45 mph, emergency braking, started skidding, balance of front and rear brakes and allow bike to do what it does to come to controlled slow. Keep it up sir. You’ll never know how many lives you saved because the wreck never happened.

I enjoyed your videos for a while now, and this has probably unknowingly saved me from riding hickups. and maybe more. When I ride now, Kevin is constantly on the back seat. Turn your head in the direction you want to go. Leave more space with the car in front of you, move to the right to see ahead of the traffic… as I have free loaded the video for a while, I have decided to become a patron. the $5 a month won't make any difference to my bank balance but might well save my life.
